And we really do mean everyone.
If you live in the North End and are fed up with the violence that has been going on in our community, then stand with us.
On Tuesday November 8th, 2011 at 5pm we need YOU to come to the Indian & Metis Friendship Centre. This blog post is simple, because our message is simple:
THIS IS OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD.
William Whyte Resident’s Association, Ndinawe and the Winnipeg Police are hosting a forum on personal safety and crime prevention.
We are sick of the violence in our community. We are standing together.

WHO SHOULD GO
As a personal message, I want to say I am very proud of the organizations and groups that are coming together to put this event together. I think it is important for all of us to stand together, like the North End we know we are. These events are community building events, and we must begin to have them more, even when crappy things AREN’T happening. We must celebrate the goodness, all of it.
