Here’s a great, and free, workshop for youth (15+) to attend! I loooved all the free workshops that St. John’s Library held and I attended many as a youth. Wonderful staff and wonderful things to learn!
Join us at St. John’s Library as Rosanna Deerchild, author, journalist and member of the Aboriginal Writers’ Collective of Manitoba, leads this free, youth-focused workshop series for new and emerging writers.
Learn about different kinds of writing with amazing, local Aboriginal talent: storytelling with Duncan Mercredi, poetry with Katherena Vermette, novel writing with Jennifer Storm, fiction with Trevor Greyeyes and performance with Niigaanwewidam James Sinclair.
Come explore your stories and writing talent in a welcoming space.
