The Winnipeg Goldeyes Baseball Club supports children’s literacy by visiting library branches to read stories, meet their fans, answer questions and give autographs. Players to be announced on August 1st. Please contact the hosting branch to register.

Many thanks to the Goldeyes for volunteering their time to share the joy of reading with children and for the donation of four free tickets to each branch for the August 1 game, “Library Night at the Ballpark” (draw to be held from TD Summer Reading Club participants’ entries).
Ted Longbottom is a Manitoba Métis singer and storyteller. Ted plays an Iroquois courting flute and tells stories in both the Ojibway language and English. His melodic songs and funny stories bring the past to life. For children and their families.
