Fall Family Storytime
Registration begins on Friday, September 13, at 10:00 am. The Fall Storytime session will begin on Tuesday, October 1, 6:30-7:00 pm, and run Tuesdays until November 19.
Computer Basics 1
Computer Basics 1 will begin on Monday, September 23, from 6-8 pm. This course is a gentle introduction to get you started with the basics of computer use, focusing on the functional skills you will need to have to start using computers. We cover turning a computer on and off, basics of using a mouse, how to use the different parts of Windows, and how to open and close programs.
Internet 1 will begin on Monday, September 30, from 6-8 pm. Are you curious about the Internet but not sure where to begin? This is an introduction to using the Internet to search for information, including basic skills such as using a browser, using search engines like Google, and opening or finding websites. Participants should know the basics of how to navigate a computer, and basic typing and mouse skills as a prerequisite.
The ABCs of First Time Home Buying
This workshop will begin on Thursday, October 3, at 6:30 pm, and will be approx. one hour in length.
Join us outdoors at the library for an afternoon of tipi teachings with community educator Ko’ona Cochrane. Open to everyone for interactive fun! Come help set up a child-size tipi, ask questions and learn how the Plains Tribes lived. All ages welcome. Rain location is inside the library.
