Family Storytime

Family Storytime will continue to run on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:00 p.m..  Registration for the spring session begins on March 14th, with storytime running April 8th-May 27th .

 Spring Break Programs

Tween Collage Workshop – Make your very own magnet, light switch plate, or personalized photo frame!  March 31st  2:00p.m – 4:00 p.m..  Ages 9-12.

Take a Trip with Storyteller Leigh-Anne Kehler.  Explore the world of storytelling with wonder and imagination; travel around the world and back again.  April 3rd  2:00p.m -3:00 p.m..  Ages 6-12.

Internet Basics

Are you curious about the Internet but not sure where to begin? This is an introduction to using the Internet to search for information, including basic skills such as using a browser, using search engines like Google, and opening or finding websites. Participants should know the basics of how to navigate a computer, and basic typing and mouse skills as a prerequisite.  April 12th 2:00p.m – 4:00 p.m..

 Older Adults and the Law
There are growing legal issues of particular concern for older adults and seniors.  In this session learn about end of life decisions, home care for seniors, mental and geriatric health assessments.

Preparing a Resume

Learn how to build a resume and cover letter that will showcase your skills, experience, and achievements using online templates from the Manitoba Career Development Initiative website.  April 21st @ 6:00 p.m.

Job Search Basics

Presented by Opportunities for Employment, this information session will highlight aspects of the job search process, with tips on using online tools and networking effectively.  April 26th  11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
